Kaylon Maxie Kirk, of Foxfire Village, and Clay “Patrick” Sessoms Jr., of Pinehurst, were married Friday, Aug. 2, at a historic home in Washington, N.C. Kirk is the daughter of Tammy and Greg Lyne, of Jackson Springs, and Forrest and Mirae Kirk, of Seven Lakes. She is the granddaughter of Brenda Lyne, of Pinehurst; the late Kaye and Olie Olson, of Pennsylvania; and the late Buck and Barbara Kirk, of Roseland. Kirk is a Realtor with Keller Williams, in Pinehurst. She graduated from Pinecrest High School (2009) and received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Sessoms is the son of Clay and Teresa Sessoms, of Pinehurst. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Harris Caldwell, of Pinehurst, and Joseph and Flora Powell, of Spring Hope. A graduate of Pinecrest High School (2008) and Appalachian State University, Sessoms is employed as the superintendent of Sessoms Construction. Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Foxfire Village.
