The Moore County Bookmobile will be stopping at our General Store two more times this month
October 17 and 31st from 11:30 – 1:00.
This past Monday, I stepped inside the bookmobile, the lovely Martha and Maggie had me registered, library card in hand, and ready to check out books in just a couple of minutes! Now I can go online, pick out books, and they will be delivered right here to foxfire.
The selection was impressive for amount of space they have to work with. They carry 800 – 1,200 items onboard, a wide selection of books; including best-sellers, large print, and children’s. Also, books-on-CD, select periodicals, and educational DVD’s. OverDrive (e-books, e-audiobooks, and digital magazines), Freading (e-books), and Hoopla (e-books, e-audio, music, and movies) are available at www.srls.info.

Click “My Account” at top right-hand corner and log in. You can pick up a pamphlet inside the bookmobile that will explain everything you need to start enjoying our mobile library!
