Ok folks…you asked for it…
I spoke to the executive chef and the main cook at Foxfire this morning and he tells me that tomorrow (Wednesday) they will cook items that they plan to serve the public, members, players and whoever wants to stop in for a bite. I’m thinking these next two days are just for club and maintenance staff only.
Tomorrow will be something of a test, cook, taste, setup etc. Since the kitchen has been revamped, the chef said he wants to test the equipment, do various dishes and such..all in efforts to better serve the dishes they will soon offer everyone.
I didn’t ask too many questions but the chef was talking about a good quality meat club burger, hot dogs, cheese sticks, chips, chicken salad, chicken salad sandwich and so on.
Kick off to the public is set for this coming Saturday PROVIDING everything goes well in these first two days (Wednesday and Thursday) of testing and prepping. I don’t know what the menu will be, nor prices…but no matter what, this is great news for our Foxfire community and neighbors.
Again…keep in mind…these next couple days will be test and prep. There may be hiccups and rightfully so. So, I’m hoping there will be a formal note sent out to all the fine folks here in Foxfire about our new adventure in club dining.
Once things get ironed out…I’m hoping everyone will support our club at the Fox and join us for some good meals and making new friends at the club.
The club manager, General Manager and operating staff have the final say so on all this, but I wanted to get the word out.
