At the March 17 Planning & Zoning (P&Z) meeting, board members emphasized that selecting a candidate was a difficult decision, noting they had two highly qualified applicants for the long-vacant seat. Following discussion, votes were taken to determine whom the board would recommend to the Village Council. Rich Kight was selected as their recommended candidate, with the final appointment to be made by the Council.
