Tonight’s meeting marked the final meeting for P&Z Board member Rick Montes. We would like to thank Rick for his hard work, dedication, and service to the Village of Foxfire. His time and commitment to the community are sincerely appreciated, and we wish him all the best in the future.
In the past, I had become accustomed to being the only resident attending many P&Z meetings. Lately, more residents have been attending and speaking during public comment, and the board has done an excellent job welcoming and handling the increased participation.
You can genuinely see that they’re listening. They’ve been open, and patient, and it makes a real difference when people attend. If you haven’t been to a meeting yet, consider coming; they’re friendly, and they truly seem to appreciate hearing from residents.
