Foxfire Village Special Emergency Meeting Summary
August 4, 2026
The Foxfire Village Council held a special emergency meeting on August 4 to formally accept the resignation of Councilman Robbins, which became effective on July 31, 2026. The resignation was accepted unanimously.
The mayor stated that, under the Village Charter, the council must appoint a replacement within 30 days. An application is being prepared and will be posted on the Village website. Once available, residents interested in serving on the council will be invited to apply. A deadline for applications will be announced when the application is released.
Council members also discussed sharing the application publicly, including allowing community organizations and others to post links on social media to help spread the word.
Because this was a special meeting, there was no public comment. The meeting lasted about four minutes and adjourned at approximately 4:35 p.m.
